TuneVault

VCM Editor

HP Tuners' desktop application for reading, modifying, and writing the tune file (calibration) stored in your vehicle's ECU/PCM.

VCM Editor is the calibration side of HP Tuners. It opens the tune file read from your ECU/PCM and exposes thousands of editable parameters organized into tabs (Fuel, Spark, Airflow, Idle, Transmission, etc.). You edit a table or scalar, then write the modified calibration back to the vehicle. For a safe tune it is where you make every change deliberately and one variable at a time, always keeping a stock backup of the original read. Remember that VCM Editor controls what is commanded, not what is delivered: changing a commanded AFR table does not guarantee the engine actually achieves it, which is why you verify with a wideband in VCM Scanner before adding load or boost. In VCM Editor you'll spend most time in the parameter tree on the left, the table/graph view, and the Compare tool that diffs your tune against stock or against a prior revision.

See it in your own tune.

TuneVault reads your VCM Editor tables and flags exactly this.
