TuneVault

VCM Scanner

HP Tuners' data-logging application that records live sensor and PID data from the vehicle so you can validate and refine a tune.

VCM Scanner is the logging and diagnostics half of HP Tuners. While the vehicle runs, it streams real-time PIDs (RPM, MAP, spark, knock, commanded vs actual AFR, wideband, etc.) and lets you record drives or dyno pulls for later analysis. It is the single most important safety tool in the workflow because it shows what the engine actually delivered, not just what VCM Editor commanded. You watch knock retard, fuel trims, and wideband AFR here before ever adding load or boost; a discrepancy between commanded and measured AFR means stop and investigate. Scanner also reads and clears DTCs. Core features include real-time gauges, channel charts, the histogram tool for binning logged data into table-shaped grids, and Math Parameters for derived channels. Editor and Scanner work as a closed loop: change in Editor, log in Scanner, repeat.

See it in your own tune.

TuneVault reads your VCM Editor tables and flags exactly this.
